FREE LOAN eNOTES
FUND
OF THE MONTH: Loans for Dental Emergencies
“I
have been a volunteer for various community organizations
for many years. Recently, on a rare occasion, I found myself
in need of assistance for oral surgery. I turned to the
Jewish Free Loan Association. Thank you for your compassion
in my time of financial need. Thank you JFLA, and God bless
all of your staff.”
“I
so much appreciate your help. I graduated from USC’s
School of Dentistry in 2001, and you helped me achieve that
dream. I hope to be able to help someone like myself one
day and will contribute to JFLA when I’m able. Thank
you.”
Did
you know that April was National Smile Month? So it seems
an appropriate time to spotlight our emergency dental and
dental student loan programs. JFLA offers interest-free
loans averaging $2,000 for emergency dental needs for
patients without dental coverage or for those who cannot afford
co-payments, focusing primarily on recent émigrés
and senior citizens. In addition, full-time students enrolled
in dental school can apply for loans of up to $2,500 per year
with a $35/month repayment rate while in school, increasing
to $150/month upon graduation. If you or anyone you
know needs a dental loan, please contact JFLA at (323) 761-8830
or at info@jfla.org.
