JFLA is proud to announce the creation of a new loan program – the Ziering Family Student Loan Fund. Thanks to a generous gift from the Ziering Family Foundation, JFLA is pleased to expand its current student loan programs by providing interest-free loans averaging $3,000 to full-time students at American Jewish University (formerly University of Judaism). This fund joins the thirteen student loan funds JFLA currently offers to meet various educational needs. STAGGERING STATS
 

Since January, JFLA has distributed 227 loans totaling over $771,000. This represents a 20% increase over the same period last year. Loans distributed for undergraduate students, transportation, women in business and families of children with special needs have increased by 50%.
