Student/Education

JFLA has over 25 student loan funds to support post-secondary education.

Students may apply for loans for

  • nursing school
  • medical school
  • dental school
  • community college
  • vocational or trade school

Nursing, medical, and dental school students can get up to $7,500.

Community college, and trade school students can get up to $3,500.

Limited student loans will be made between April 1 and June 15th for

  • undergraduate education
  • graduate school
  • professional school

Apply now for limited funds that will be disbursed on a first come, first served basis, up to $7,500, starting April 1. Please note: Applications should be completed by the student - not by a parent. Only complete applications will be considered so get yours in now to be reviewed.

Eligibility:

  • the applicant must live in Los Angeles or Ventura county.
  • the applicant must be a full-time student with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • the applicant must have one or two guarantors.
  • the applicant may be any race, religion or gender.
