Shelly and family

Shelly first came to Jewish Free Loan as a student. Jewish Free Loan's student loan empowered her to get a degree in speech pathology. She now works at a rehabilitation hospital as a speech pathologist working with patients with traumatic brain injuries, stroke and neurological disorders.

It was very stressful to go through IVF and deal with the treatment, medications, stress, and all the procedures. It was nice to know that it wasn't stressful to get the loan.Having our baby changed our lives. He is such a big blessing to us. He is the missing piece to our puzzle that we wanted for so many years.Shelly

Fast forward, Shelly and her husband struggled with infertility for a couple of years. Unfortunately, their insurance did not cover IVF. Shelly saw the flyer for Jewish Free Loan's Feit 4 KidZ Fertility Loan Fund at her doctor's office. Because she had already been a recipient of a student loan, she knew to expect a seamless process so she reached out to Jewish Free Loan and received the funding necessary to move forward with IVF.

They now have a baby boy who just turned 2 months old!
