The “Jewish” in Jewish Free Loan refers to a foundational idea in the bible that the charging of interest on a loan to a person in need, is not in his or her best interest and is therefore, prohibited. JFLA applies the wisdom of that idea to all its clients, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, race, ability, gender, etc.

Small Business Eligibility

All loan applications are being processed electronically and the client interviews are taking place by Via Zoom or Skype. 

To start your application, click APPLY NOW. Applicants must be permanent residents of Los Angeles, Santa Barbra County or Ventura county.

There will be a brief virtual interview, and you will complete some electronic paperwork.

Step 3: Have your guarantor(s) complete and sign the forms.

A member of our team will guide you. Once your guarantors have completed and signed the forms, please upload or email all documents to JFLA. Allow 7-10 days for processing.

A member of our team will let you know the status of your loan. Your loan check will be issued to you by direct deposit.

Begin making payments 30-45 days after your loan check is received.

Jewish Free Loan Process

ALL JFLA LOANS MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE GUARANTOR

There are no exceptions to the following requirements.

What is a JFLA guarantor (commonly referred to as a co-signer)?

 If the guarantor is married or in a domestic partnership, their spouse/partner is considered a co-guarantor (and cannot sign on as a separate guarantor). Spouses/partners must sign on to all types of loans.

What does a guarantor need to do as part of the application process?

There is no flexibility or exceptions to these requirements.
